Frequently Asked Questions

A $35 non-refundable fee is included in registration cost. Failure to cancel 72 hours prior to seminar is non-refundable. Non-refundable does not mean you are not offered a credit towards another UWS continuing education course. Credit will be held up to one year of date of subject course.
Every attempt is made to offer programs as announced. UWS reserves the right to adjust program, faculty, location, dates, times, and/or tuition to accommodate unanticipated occurrences, to limit seating, or to cancel due to insufficient enrollment. UWS is not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants due to program adjustments or cancellation. Only those who are pre-registered can be notified in the event of changes/cancellation.

Continuing education credit (CE) is provided by University of Western States (UWS). 
While applications relating to credit hours for license renewal in selected states have been executed for these programs, it remains attendees’ responsibility to contact the state board(s) from whom they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approve both venue and content as they relate to any seminar/course/lecture/webinar/online presentation (event). 
Neither a speaker’s or exhibitor’s presence at said event, nor product mention or display, shall in any way constitute UWS endorsement. UWS’s role is strictly limited to processing, submitting, and archiving program documents on behalf of course sponsors.
University of Western States is an approved provider of CE for Chiropractors for the Providers of Approved Continuing Education (PACE) program of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. States that accept courses that are approved by PACE include:  AK, CT, DC, ID, IN, IA, KS, ME, MD, MA, MN, MT, NV, NJ, NC, ND, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, VA, WA, WY, Puerto Rico and Nova Scotia.
University of Western States is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) which provides approval of CE for Chiropractors for all CE programs. The states that approve courses offered by CCE universities are: CT, DC, DE, IA, ID, IN, MA, MI, MS, MT, ND, NM, OR, RI, SC, UT, VA, WA, WY and BC.
The following states do not pre-approve CE: CO, NE, and OH. Plus, Ontario, and British Columbia in Canada. Participants for in these jurisdictions should submit their certificate of completion directly to their state/provincial board for approval.

Please allow for up to 14 days to receive notice that you may print your verification of continuing education.  Due special circumstances that may arise, the process of certificates could be delayed.  If you are unable to print your own certificate, please contact the UWS Department of Continuing Education.

UWS department of continuing education guarantees, within 7 days, that CE credit be reported to CE Broker. This does not mean that all programs will be approved for credit. Please check with your board for program credit approval.

Signature CE Events are offered annually by University of Western States.  UWS CE signature events include:

  4. Click the Pint Button, upper right hand side to open up the certificate to the full size.
